Coronavirus Health & Safety Update
To Our Sprinly Family,
We know you’re all doing your part to minimize the spread of COVID-19, and we wanted to let you know that we’re going to do everything we can to help.
Our mission & promise has always been to ensure that you and your loved ones are as healthy as possible, and we are committed to continuing to deliver you our healthy, ready-to-eat meals directly to your doorstep with no-contact delivery so that you don’t have to meet the courier or go to grocery stores, restaurants, or other areas where you risk exposure.
More importantly, we want to reassure you that at Sprinly, we’ve taken proactive measures to ensure our team is handling your meals in the safest, most sanitary way. Everyone in our fully-inspected commercial kitchen is washing their hands for over 20 seconds very frequently and thoroughly to ensure the cleanest hands, they are wearing protective masks at all times, and we are also constantly sanitizing our door handles and all surfaces every 30 minutes with a bleach solution to ensure maximum cleanliness. Additionally, we have set up sanitizer stations and installed the highest standard air purifiers throughout our kitchen. And as always, we are obsessed with glove usage (new employees from other food facilities sometimes think we’re a little crazy). We require the use of gloves for everything – we even require that gloves are changed between tasks and changed if someone touches a freshly sanitized surface or table. In addition, we’ve implemented work from home policies for anyone who is not directly involved in the preparation or packing of our meals. Finally, we’ve set up a process to take the temperatures of everyone who comes into our kitchen to make certain that our team and kitchen aren’t at risk of exposure. All of this requires extra effort, but we believe that taking these extra steps is the best way to make sure you continue to receive nutritious meals every week in the most sanitary way, while also allowing us to ensure our team’s well-being.
Additionally, per the CDC, USDA, and FDA, we would like to remind everyone that the transmission of the virus has not been linked to food or food packaging.
We know that experts are recommending food delivery to minimize exposure and more individuals want to have meals delivered straight to their doorsteps now, so we’re continuing to work hard to prepare healthy meals for you every week, especially since we know that boosting your personal health & immune system with nutritious meals is more important now than ever. We are dedicated to using clean, organic ingredients that provide great nutritional benefits, such as kale, spinach, and sweet potatoes, but we also love to use many superfoods like microgreens, chia seeds, and hemp seeds. A serving of bell peppers in our meals can contain over 150% of your daily intake for vitamin C and the nuts/seeds in them are full of vitamin E, both of which are important for building your immune system during this time. Nutrition is so critical now, and we hope our team of chefs, along with the doctors & nutritionists we’ve worked with, can do the thinking & prep for you.
Finally, during this difficult time, we’ve spent weeks working hard to find and purchase thousands of masks, gowns, and face shields that we are donating to hospitals and those on the frontline. In addition, we continue to donate more vegetables to those in need, and over the past year, we’ve donated over 20,000 pounds of prepared organic vegetables to continue supporting our communities.
